Agate
Agates get its name from
the place where it is said to be discovered, river Achates in Sicily. It
is composed of cryptocrystalline silica, with the advantage of easy to
labor and durable. Its crystal system is in the hexagonal shape, and It has
a Moh's Scale hardness level of 7. Some Islams believe wearing agate could
protect them from various misshape and allow them enjoy longevity. In
other traditions agate is believed to cure the stings of scorpions and the
bites of snakes, soothe the mind, prevent contagion, still thunder and
